So I am pretty sure that when I set this blog up, I had a goal! The goal was probably to be a "frequent blogger," but then life happened! Since my last post in July, 2013, a lot of things have happened!
- August 2013 - Started teaching 1st grade...loved it! Decided it was my "forever grade."
- February 2014 - Found out I was expecting a baby! (insert lots of prayers that I would finally get my girl and even more prayers that I would get over my morning sickness!!!)
- May 2014 - Found out we were losing one 1st grade class, and as much as I loved 1st grade, I also loved my class.....SO, I decided to loop up with my firsties!
- June 2014 - It's a girl!!! So thrilled...Pink became my favorite color! (Decided morning sickness was totally worth it...and yes...it was still there!)
- July 2014 - 19 weeks - morning sickness ended....I felt like a normal person again!!!

- August 2014 - Started teaching 2nd grade Math/Science/Social Studies!
- October 25, 2014 - Sweet Kaitlyn Elizabeth was born!
- October - December - I played house with my sweet baby girl. She has been such a joy!
- January 2015 - Returned from maternity leave and haven't slowed down since.
So as I sit here today, I am returning to my original goal of wanting to be a good teacher blogger, while making sure my focus is on my students and their success!
